This is going to be fun!

Hey there!
Taken May 2, 2013
I was introduced to HDR photography by one of my professors. I got an awesome new camera. It's my first DSLR camera, finally, and it's all mine! No more using the college's equipment. I'm getting all sorts of accessories to help me with my photography. I am going to be taking a lot of artistic and nature photos just for myself to continue my hobby. Of course, I am going to continue to also take photos with my reporting.
HDR photography is pretty awesome. It can be used to make photos look more vivid in color, or it can make a photo look more on the artistic side, which I think makes it less of a photo, but it still looks awesome and captivating.
With my camera, I set up for three different exposures so I take three photos in the exact same spot of what ever I am focusing on, and each photo is at a different exposure. I go into Photoshop and merge these three photos together, pretty much. Finally, I play around with the different attributes to meet the needs of what I'm trying to accomplish.
I know I won't be very good compared to professionals, but I hope I can get some good results in the end. As I go along, I think I'll get better.
